Instead of making individual cocktails, try making this super simple party punch for your next event! This creative twist on lemonade can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until guest arrive.
The punch tastes even better the next day, when the strawberries have had a chance to steep. If you do decide to make it the night before, keep it in a closed container to help preserve the bubbles from the sparkling water.
To make this family friendly, just skip adding the vodka. It still tastes amazing!
Basil Strawberry Lemonade With Vodka
Serves: 20
Ingredients
- 1 bottle of vodka (750 ml)
- 2 liters sparkling water
- 2 10 oz packages frozen strawberries
- 1 12 oz can frozen lemonade
- fresh basil for garnish
Directions: Make this punch at least 20-30 min before guests arrive, so the strawberries have time to thaw. Combine the vodka, sparkling water and frozen lemonade in a large punch bowl. Stir to dissolve the frozen lemonade. Carefully add the frozen strawberries to the mixture. Add a few leaves of fresh basil on top of the lemonade as a garnish.
